Jim's Smokin' Que + Candy by the Pound. Yeehaw!

If you get a chance, head on over to Jim's Smokin' Que in Blairsville, Georgia.  Their barbecue is deeeeeeelicious.  Kranberry Kathy highly recommends the ribs, but you'll need to call ahead in the morning and reserve yours  - that's how good they are!  If you're in Dahlonega and need a bbq sauce fix, Cranberry Corners now carries Jim's sauce.  Many grilling aficionados in town have declared it the best they've ever tried.  Add a bottle to one of our custom gift baskets - the 'Butt Sauce' paired with some Poo-pourri would be hysterical!

And for dessert - how about some candy by the pound?  That'll get the kids hyper and keep your dentist peeved!

Shenanigans Irish Pub Fire in Dahlonega, Georgia | An Update!

It was a sad, sad St. Patrick's day when Dahlonega's Shenanigan's Irish Pub, a favorite of locals + tourists alike, caught fire in the early morning hours just a few days before the holiday.  True to form, the citizens of Dahlonega rose to the occasion and within hours organized a fundraising event for the employees displaced by the fire.  Cranberry Corners donated 20% of all sales on St. Patrick's Day weekend to the cause!

The restaurant has already begun clean-up and construction, hoping to re-open October of 2014...just in time for Gold Rush 2014!

These lifelike clay sculptures are made in Georgia!

The number one comment heard in-store about these handcrafted clay animal sculptures by Georgia potter Yvetta?  That each character has so much personality!  We have to agree - each handmade chicken, turtle, frog and rabbit seems to have it's own thoughts or secrets to share.  We wish they could talk!
